Title: Stranded Viking
Description: Have you heard of Vikings? I guess you have, especially about the popular cartoon character Hagar the Horrible! but do you know who exactly were they? Well, my friend, they were from Scandinavia, and they explored lands, warriors, pirates, merchants, they were fighting with other tribes through Europe, they traded, and finally settled in many different countries, but mostly they occupied the wide lands across Europe, Asia and the North Atlantic islands. This happened from the late 8-th to the mid 11-th century.
They traveled with their famous longships even to Constantinople, which today is called Istanbul, in present day Turkey. They also traveled to the Volga River in Russia, Iceland and many other places and countries. The period of Viking expansion is known as the Viking Age, and it shapes the greatest part of the medieval history of Europe. Their society was basically agricultural and they were also known as traders. The reasons for the Viking expansion are still unknown, but as the most probable is that their peninsula was overcrowded, so they started looking for some more land! When it comes to the appearance of the Vikings, it is believed that they used horned helmets, and are mostly represented wearing them, although it is not yet proven!
Game Walkthrough: If you want to spend some time following the story of a Viking, play this game! He has survived a castaway. When you start the game you`ll see two equal pictures one above the other. But are they really the equal? Well, look closer! There are 5 small differences, on every of the 14 pictures! You should have a really good eye for this game! As soon as you find those differences, the game automatically leads you to the next picture, where also there are 5 slightly different things. This repeats in all 14 pictures, which are actually telling the story of the Viking. Be patient till the end! Help this Viking find his way home!
Game Instructions: To go through this game, you only have to click with your mouse on the difference you`ll notice. There is a double cursor, so that once you click on the right spot both pictures will become the same! You`ll get 10 points! But if you click on a wrong spot, you lose 5 points! Be careful! Open your eyes wide as possible! And good luck!
